decided to splurge on the first ever vibrating mascara from estee lauder for $50.

Sculpting Disk from Sephora - this was really huge. haha for $30

an eyeliner from MAC that costs $28 that still smudges on my oily eyelids... haiz.. don know what to do with it now.

went to the lorea sale some time ago and bought some favourite blusher mousse, loreal gel-liner, green mineral eye-shadow and Loreal Infallible Lip Color.

several dresses and tops online.

and i'm broke... haha...

please provide recommendations on any low-cost activities that i can do during weekends. Having to work OT every weekdays does not allow me to out much after work. so weekends that precious...

its a lovely sunday afternoon. as long as i am not reminded that its monday tomorrow. the person who invented Mondays should seriously be shot for causing so much torture for people. haha.

its has been some time since i have graduated from SIM and it has already been my second job. didnt wanted to be seen as someone who job hops or cant take stress from my job but the CS position in my previous company was unbearable. the high staff turnover rate speaks a thousand words.

now i'm happily working in scb learning lots of new stuff and discovering myself. as an introvert, it has been kinda difficult to be a coordinator where i need PR skills to deal with ppl from all scales of life. but i'm learning and i wan to show the people at my previous company that your job is not my only choice in life. they gave us the impression that the job market was bad and if you cant even succeed in that role, that is nothing else you can do in the future. well, i found one within a month, which shows that they are a liar... or should i say, hypocrites!

Time passes by really quickly. In a blink of an eye, me and dear has been together for 4 years. Looking back on the years, i have learnt to be patient and trusting. We have even started to plan for our future. We hope to be able to be able to save up enough by that time. It sure has been fun dicussing the way we would like our house to be decorated, our wedding, etc

It has been a fun day doing something we have not done before. We went for a picnic at East Coast!! Went shopping the day before that to get the food ready and spent an hour preparing our picnic basket. Dear dear knew that i prefer DS then PSP, which is why he got one for me. SO happy playing Professor Layton... He even wrapped it himself with decorations and all.

Our Yin-Yang Bread at the top right hand corner. Kudos to my auntie for the potato salad. She sure makes a mean potato salad. Totally love it.

still waiting for my job to start on the 16th of nov. i was accepted as a bank executive at DBS. The benefits are really good and i have 24 days of annual leave!! However, if i fail the tests during the training, then out i go... getting more and more nervous as the days draw near...

anyway, i attended my ex-colleague's wedding on the 24th of Oct. Have been waiting for him to tie the knot for like ages... i remember that i like to ask him every few days when is he getting married.

I finally completed another two ticks in my to-do list with dear dear.. we went to have a seafood feast and i finished two crabs all by myself. was really amazed at myself and couldnt really eat other dishes already. we ordered 4 dishes even though there was only 2 of us. didnt really take much pictures because my hands are not free. haha. i nearly laughed my head off when dear sadly showed me his immigration card that we all had to fill in. he put a tick in the Yes box for the question: "Is this your first time to malaysia?" We bought lots of goodies and stuffs from city square. there was a loreal sale over at JB during the weekends but we didnt want anything from there or we would have taken a cab there.

oh my! i thought i was imagining things when i felt that the bed was shaking today at around 6pm. i kept standing up and sitting down again for umpteen times to my disbelief. it was only just now when i read the news online then did i realise that a 7.9-magnitude earthquake happened in indonesia at that time, 512km away, and tremors have been experienced at singapore. Hope that the people there are all right.

the very first item i bought from angeselle is LOST IN THE MAIL.. ah!!! this is the very first time i lost a mail... but anyway, i chose normal mail, what to do... and it costs $28. i was really angry previously because the owners of the blogshop just wouldn't update me on my lost mail and wouldnt reply my questions. so i sent an angry mail and she gave me the full status. but anyway, that has spoilt my first shopping experience with them. and i felt that as this is not their only 'job', they do not put 100% time and passion into it. so i don think i will be making any purchases with them anymore unless something really catches my eye. well, i still have 3 other dresses on backorders that still has not reached yet. So i have requested to convert to registered mail for them.

was so busy with birthdays lately... celebrated jeral and yanting's birthday at ion orchard. at a japanese restaurant with fantastic service. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and would (hear this) kneel down by the table to take your order. he would bow a perfect 90degrees and this really startled us.

it has been a long time since i blogged. there were several times when i started a new post but was unable to continue.. i guess it might be brain might not be functioning very well due to lack of sleep. was trying to adjust my sleeping time from 11pm to 7am. but it has been a few weeks and i still yawn like nobody business in the day.

anyway, i tink Friday is finally my last day at CMPMedica. it has been slightly boring working there because i don really have any lunch kakis.. my supervisor was piled with work because she was aimed with arrows... poor thing.. so i have to look pass my inconveniences..

finally, after 3 years of studying, i have graduated. my convocation was on 27th Aug. it was a really tiring day, but nevertheless, memorable. however, there was a glitch.. the serangoon studio people did not pin my gown in the front and my gown was flapping whenever i walk. and my clothes could be seen in the photos.. only mine!! i thought that it was something that everyone experienced until i was taking photos with yirong and wenyi. then i asked yirong... ah!! and i was already getting ready to go home. didnt really take a lot of photos which is something that i regret... anyway i should be taking my family photos at the studio soon. mummy didnt want to do it earlier because she said it was better not to clash with the 7th month. even the new sofa (bought one month ago) was delivered yesterday so as not to clash...

At MOF. The food there is really not bad. And there are a wide variety of desserts, but didnt get the chance to try it.

the swensen buffet at ion orchard. went last month with dear as there is a one for one buffet promotion. there were many flavours but because of the crowd, some flavours were not available because they were not cold enough. and the gelato machine was not working.. when we went there again the next week, the machine was still not functioning. the pies were not really fantastic because they were frozen pies and not freshly made. however, the waffle were crispy and fluffy.

craving for the salmon sashimi at kuishinbo!!! had it as an early celebration for my birthday last month.

the salmon sashimi was extremely fresh. Love the alaska crabs so much! the legs are so long that we were given scissors to get the flesh out. the beef teppanyaki is very succulent. the mango pudding is a fantastic way to end the fulfilling dinner. the Chawanmushi is really good too. those were the ones that are the culprits for my cravings now...

a good day to go for us girls would be on wednesday where they have a special promotion, provided that u finish in 2 hours.

Haven blog for like the longest time ever!! Wasn't exactly in the mood because was overwhelmed with the realisation that I HAVR GRADUATED!!! After 3 years of attending lectures and projects and exams, graduating is a sort of escape from them. However, I am definitely gonna miss the identity of being a student with the perks and benefits such as student discounts, the lack of stress from being tagged with a price tag (salary and position held) and lack of office politics.

Xiang got married!! She had her ROM on the 14th of June. Cogratulations!! She was definitely not the expected first one. Hope that Xiang and Andrew will stay blissful always.

Had a talk with the photographer, Nick Goh. I was impressed by what he had to say about his job and the topic of marriage. He said that he is not a photographer, but a storyteller. His job is not to just take photos, but to capture the moment of happiness and bliss in a wedding and to entice the other ladies of a fairytale and wonderful wedding. I must agree that this is a really good marketing technique.

As of 15th June, I have finally turned a quarter of a century old!! Dear and me weren’t doing very well financially, therefore, we had lunch at Seoul Garden because of the discounts that we can enjoy with the Zingrill VIP card. Then we went to Marina Barrage to take some pretty pictures and to soak in the romantic view of the sunset and the spectacular view of the Singapore Flyer from a distance. I went down to Downtown East to watch “Land of the Lost”, with dear, my siblings; XH, CF, and my cousins. My mum had earlier booked 2 rooms at Downtown East so that we can have a fun getaway instead of going overseas. My family and aunt’s family were really sweet and had a surprise for me when I reached the chalet room. When I opened the door, I was treated with the sound of HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!, and the popping of party firecrackers and of course my favourite chocolate cake. We quickly sang the birthday song and ate the cake on the way to the cinema. Ended my birthday this year in the cinema, laughing my heart out from the antics of the main actor in the Land of the Lost.

Went to Butter factory with my SIM mates one day after the girl caught H1N1 there. Was really heng because, initially, we wanted to go on Wednesday too, since its ladies night. But I have steamboat at the chalet that night and chen de was going to Thailand that evening. Which is why we had to push it to Thursday. Haha…

Had a torturous 8 days with chen de overseas at Thailand. He went with his buddy and his buddy’s gf. Wanted to be an understanding gf, so did not want to tag along. But mainly, its also because I did not have money to go… sob sob. I really missed shopping at bangkok without having a care for the number on the price tag.

Went out with my ex-colleagues today at marina square. We have not got together for quite some time, which is why the gathering. We had the afternoon buffet at Hot Pot Culture which was cheap at 13.80++ but the food was only passable. Anyway, it’s the company that counts. My friend’s son! He is really adorable and was laughing away the whole time. There wasn’t a minute whenI didn’t hear his laughter. Kids like these are really pleasant to be with and fun.

Anyway, here is a prayer to Buddha (I’m a Buddhist)… May I find a job soon… I guess I’m some what picky in choosing the jobs to send my resume to. Which is why I have only sent about 20+ emails. Jiayou! Fighting! LOL…

went singing yesterday with dear and yt... was real fun !! however, my feet were hurting from the high heels after a few hours of shopping..

went to illuma at Bugis and was disappointed at the number of shops that were opened. it was opened to the public quite some time ago and i tot that a majority of the shops should be opened already.

Anyway, had lunch at manhattan fish market at illuma and was damn full. had seafood platter for one. but was served with enough food for two... luckily dear was there to finish it... and he was there complaining that i am the reason why he is getting fatter... well, if the food wasnt delicious, he wouldn't have finished it anyway, right? haha... before our food was served, we caught whiff of food being burnt a few times and we tot that it was some food disaster in the kitchen. when my order was served, the waiter used an open flame to heat up my prawns, and we realised that this was the cause of the smell. however, my food was surprisingly scrumptious! the prawns and grilled fish are not something that i would complain about. dear had his boring fish and chips and yt had garden herbs fish or something like that. we even had free mussels, which is actually a promotion for DBS and POSB debit and creditcard members. there was even a 20% discount promnotion going on! our bill for 3 person came up to only about 50+, which is considered quite cheap..

Today is the last day of my 'exams'... i should be ecstatic but i feel kinda moody... so i am going out for ktv tml to relieve some stress...

my investment paper was terrible and most likely i will have to retake it, which means i have to repeat a semester. haiz... investment is my bane this semester.
anyway, that is something i will have to face in june when my results are released...

had my nails done just now, by my sister... pretty!!

having a terrible headache.. hope that panadol will be able to ease my pain... or i will try yanting's method and smash my head on the wall...

has been a super duper unproductive day as i was bed ridden due to this headache.. wanted to sleep it off but apparently, it wasn't working.. my first paper is coming up on 24th and because of some dumb ass, i will have to retake my international trade test or treat my exam as 100%... this is damn unfair since we, the full timers, are not at fault. as a result, we are all wounded from the stabs on our backs.

has real fun at the forest adventure yesterday. for once, the weather seems agreeable and the sun demonstrated its full power. was glad for my sun screen or i would look like a lobster today.. finally, i was able to finish the whole course without fail and walked away with satisfaction and definitely some stress relieved.. i am very proud of myself for completing station 4, difficult route!!! i jumped off that platform into that cargo net without really standing there for a very long time. unlike that time when i was in the leadership camp in secondary school. i stood on that trunk for like half an hour before i dared to take that leap. but this time, its also before there was a little boy behind me, and i didnt want to 'lose face'. he was insisting to his mother that he wanted to try the difficult route because it looks fun.. any way, sadly, there are no pictures to prove my bravery, because we didnt dare to bring our cameras in case they drop while completing the flying fox across bedok reservoir. i strongly recommend this for any dare devils or just to relieve some stress.. it might be pricey at $34 per adult but it is definitely work the experience. a test of endurance and perseverance for yourself.

had real fun eating out with the girls at nihon mura, the cathay. YR addiction to sushi doesnt seem to wane at all... sushi nearly 6 days a week is scary!!! and she always order the salmon maki!!! and at least 3 plates, which adds up to 18pieces of maki!! ah!!! the thought of it scares me.. haha!!! will get the pic of ALL our sushi from alicia ... haha..

and oh ya!! congratulations yuda!! he wont be reading my blog.. but it is still something worth celebrating! this is the closest i have been to matchmaking successfully!

valentines was real fun with dear.. he was the sweetest!!! however we were kinda VERY suay that day, or was it just me?

he called for the florist to deliver the flowers to my school again this year. it was really embarassing and it got the same accomplice to help him again this year, alicia. haha!! it wasn't that paiseh for u k... imagine me carrying the sunflowers into lecture...

he came to fetch me from school and we took a bus down to orchard for our ktv session. but we were stuck in the traffic jam for ages and we missed our booking. sob sob... nvm.. so we decided to walk around and do some shopping.. and i encountered the most suayest incident ever in my life (actually it happened once already). haiz... a brainless feathered creature decided to remove its bowels just while i was walking under. it so narrowly missed chen de even though he was a nearer landing location!!! haiz..

luckily dear remembered to book the restaurant because we realised that mostly all restaurants were fully booked. several couples without bookings were turned away. well, they will learn from their mistakes. we learned ours from experience too. haha..

he offered to peel prawns for me!! becoz he say today special day!

so sweet!!

and anyway, time for presents. it was surprise time this year. we gave no clues or hints but we ended up getting each other what caught our eyes before.

The campaign wants to encourage victims of dating violence to revamp their relationships. It is organised by social workers at the "Centre for Promoting Alternative to Violence" and the Nanyang Technological University.

Experts say that abuse in relationships in Singapore usually goes unreported, and that many victims remain trapped in a violent relationship because they lack the courage to walk away or are unaware that they are victims of dating violence.

Dr Maliki Osman, Parliamentary Secretary for National Development, said: "When we started looking at couples with violence as a key problem, the violence has not just occurred overnight or even during marriage. It has occurred way before marriage."

Had been a long time since i blogged. i have been busy with the annual house cleaning. conducted the funeral of my soft toys yesterday because xh said that i have too many and they are just ttaking up lots of space. the thought of it brings tears to my eyes, haha. will upload the Yi Zhao the nxt time..

Bye my beloved tiger, my lovely tweety bird. they bring back a lots of memories. my tweety bird was given to me by shi qing as a birthday gift during my secondary days. i still couldn't bear to part some, so i secretly kept them in my wardrobe. My duckie-kee (given to me as a birthday gift by elaine).. My moomoo (given to me by jeraldine), which was thrown into the washing machine by my mum even thought it is a battery operated toy!! so it can no longer shake its head and sing moo moo anymore, just some cracked unaudible sound.

My benefit blusher have arrived just in time for the CNY!!! it is so kawaii!!!

It has been a year with lots of events, so i hope that the MooMoo year will bring a year of fortune and joy for us!!

we had a really budget new year eve this year. we ate at tanjong pagar market for lunch and wanted to go eat at the Tiong Bahru Chicken Rice at Changi. but changed our plans last minute and ate at Tea Hut @ Century Square. it is a relatively new restaurant and the food is afforable. we had 4 dishes and rice. the food was delicious but the drinks were a bit off. dear kept complaining about this yuanyang which he feared was brewed with honey instead of condensed milk. lol... my supposedly honey lemon was without any trace of lemon and damn sweet.

went to my cousin's wedding just now... Congratulations Terence!!! Feel kinda weird calling him terence because it was only until recently then did i realise that his english name is terence. lol

anyway, my elder sis helped me and my younger sister prep for the dinner. she did our hair and makeup. but she only did my eyeshadow for me. quite a number of people thought that we went to the salon to set our hair.. haha.. we had to explain quite a number of times that we had our own hair-stylist at home. and she had no training, mind u...

Pretty right!!! i was stuck with 13 pins onto my head, and nearly half a bottle of hair spray, however, i feel that it is pretty worthwhile. my sister was happily imitating herself spraying a cockroach with an insecticide when she was spraying the hair spray. because i have a really thick mane, so i need a really strong hold.

had a hard time washing it off though.. i had to wash my hair twice and even so, my hair still feels a little weird...

my younger sister did my nails for me, so now i have dark red nails.. muahahaha!!! isnt it nice to have sisters who 爱美 as much as i do. lol!!

so happy!! had another shopping spree again!! retail therapy is really beneficial to a woman's health. *ahem* i mean mental health. lol..

went to the kose sale and bought a mascara, a lipgloss and 2 bottles of nail polish. the mascara is really cute.. it has a brush on one side and a comb on the other side.

went to CP with mummy, sister and bro yesterday to do some shopping. i bought a $10 dress and a pair of shoes that cost $15.90. good bargain right. XH keep saying that i am gng to wear a $10 dress to our cousin's wedding.

well, she FINALLY bought a dress after walking around for like 4 hrs.. troublesome. the rest of us keep nagging that she is very troublesome.. lol...

its my mum's birthday! happy birthday mummy. older by a year already wor. but nevertheless, you still look as youthful as you were in your 20s. not pai ma pi wor.. mu mummy really look young for her age. hope i can be like her when i age. haha..

its also my 3rd year anniversary with my dear dear!! MUACKS!! i am so glad that we are able to walk through these 3 years hand in hand and that our love will stay as steadfast always! hope that we will be able to construct our dream home in the future!! Will always love you!

so broke right now. but mummy and dear asked me not to get birthday presents for them becoz they know my situation. so sweet of them. don worry. i will work hard these holidays and make it up to you two by the end of this year.

Warning: turn your MP3 players down!

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Millions of youngsters across Europe could suffer permanent hearing loss after five years if they listen to MP3 players at too high a volume for more than five hours a week, EU scientists warned on Monday.

The scientists' study, requested by the European Commission, attacked the concept of "leisure noise," saying children and teenagers should be protected from increasingly high sound levels -- with loud mobile phones also coming in for criticism.

"There has been increasing concern about exposure from the new generation of personal music players which can reproduce sounds at very high volumes without loss of quality," the Commission, the EU's executive arm, said in a statement.

"Risk for hearing damage depends on sound level and exposure time," it said. More and more young people were exposed to the significant threat that leisure noise posed to hearing, it said.

Commission experts estimate that between 50 and 100 million people listen to portable music players on a daily basis.

If they listened for only five hours a week at more than 89 decibels, they would already exceed EU limits for noise allowed in the workplace, they said. But if they listened for longer periods, they risked permanent hearing loss after five years.

The scientists calculated the number of people in that risk category at between five and 10 percent of listeners, meaning up to 10 million people in the European Union.

Sales of personal music players have soared in EU countries in recent years, particularly of MP3 players.

Commission experts estimate unit sales between 184 and 246 million for all portable audio devices just over the last four years, of which MP3 players range between 124 and 165 million.

Mobile phones used at excessive volume also came under fire from Meglena Kuneva, the EU's consumer affairs commissioner.

"I am concerned that so many young people ... who are frequent users of personal music players and mobile phones at high acoustic levels, may be unknowingly damaging their hearing irrevocably," she said in the statement.

bought a really pretty skirt from XL's online shop. wore it out to dear's fren's house for hari raya.. pretty right?? its a miu miu inspired skirt.

the original version is the one below.. looks really 'pong' and short. not really very suitable for normal days.

went to try the new wasabi fillet from McDonald and well, the wasabi flavour is not very strong with the first mouth. but the feeling came after a few more mouths.

also had fun eating at jalan kayu with my sim frens for the combined celebration of the 3 libras in our cliche. alicia has the same WEIRD taste as jeral.. green food looks appetising to them. haha... that was one of the items she choose for the indian rojak. love the maggi goreng there.

lastly, my latest shopping desires are kakubi brushes!!! anybody wanna get me one??!?!??!?!

has been some time since i last updated my blog..

I have been wanting to upload my photos lately.. but dear dear keep forgetting to send them to me. today, i finally took the camera from him. Or not i might just nv see them again. lol

i put on my fake eyelashes from ELF last saturday.. made my eyes look kinda red...

don dare to upload the pic of my whole look. my sis say i look like a bit weird with my red eyes. like i have 水汪汪 eyes. lol... anyway, had difficulty washing off the glue off my eyelash.. real pek chek.. i think it will be some time before i will put them on again. lol

my phone died on me again. it was the motorola phone that i BORROWED from my younger sister's friend's sister. OMG.. and i spoiled it.. i felt so guilty and was thinking of getting a new one for her even though the condition of the phone wasn't really good in the first place. I cannot hear during calls but the other party can hear me perfectly well. luckily, my sister called her friend and they said that actually they don want the phone anymore so it doesnt matter.. phew.. i am broke nowadays so it will be difficult for me to buy a new phone to return to her.

Xiang lent her her spare phone to use while i scount for an available phone to buy.. A Panasonic phone that i am unable to upload the pic because dear's camera's batt has also depleted completely when he passed it to me..

i am still deciding on what phone to get. does anyone have any recommendations. hoping to get a phone with a good sound quality as i get "deaf" sometimes so i need the ringtones to be really loud.. the camera quality must at least be passable. i was thinking of the 5 Megapixel Samsung phone, but dear said that Samsung's camera is CMI(Cannot make it). so i have to strike that off my list.

Any recommendations???

saw this the other day.. felt that it is quite true.. i feel that it is because man really do underestimate woman at times. is it a trait inbuilt into them that woman will always me the weaker sex? men claim that it is an equal world outside. but is it really true. deep down inside, do they really see us as an equal or only in certain issues such as, when we have to open our own doors... haha..

tis morning, my mummy made egg tart at home.. isn't she a genius .. they really look very pretty.

intended to go to the concert today.. but in the end, my sukubunny darling mixed up fort canning and mount faber.. last minute, we don know how to get there, so couldn't go in the end. and he is not free tml as he needs to go to CC to collect his prize for the previous tampines Basketball tournament.. so long ago le lo.. don know what those people doing.

anyway, we decided to have our dinner at vivocity since we area already at harbourfront then walk around before we head home since we are already dressed nicely, what for waste.. haha.. we went to white dog cafe and we were seated by the transparent pane!!! i so wanted to sit there the first time we went there during valentines but they were all reserved. so i took several photos this time..

i won a pair of complimentary 2-day concert passes to Concert in the Park 2008. Actually, i don recognise the names of the performers at all, but nevertheless, i am still very excited over my win. Here is my thank you speech.

Remember, i said that i worked for a day at Robinsons some time ago for $80. yesterday, prisia sms me to tell me that there is a mistake in the pay.. It is actually $8 per hour, so it adds up to $64 for one day of work. Seriously, it is such a waste of my time. I thought that it was $80 so it will be so worthwhile for me to not work my part-time admin job that day that offers $7 per hour. my part-time admin job only requires me to sit at my table and do paperwork. I don think i will be taking it up again because it is kinda tiring to me.

i wrote this last week, but blogspot went bonkers and i couldn't upload photos.. i was lazy to link to photobucket so i gave up and delayed it till today.. haha...

Went to work at Robinsons one day, part-time, on Thursday... made two new friends and had so much fun that day!! haha!! we were packers that day, but we slack for half a day because our boss had some decisions to make with the marketing team. we were taking photos for the christmas catalog and we saw many pretty things.. but they were really ex... had to be really careful..

went to sit in chen de's lesson last week, Business Finance.. his lecturer was pretty good. however, the thing i like the most about his lesson was the environment.. the table was comfortable, i was sitted in the 2nd row and they were less than 100 ppl.. unlike my class when the tables are always spoiled and i always sit at the 3rd row from the back and my cohort has 300 ppl.. i was really able to concentrate and understand the lecturer's lesson. so i guess i do not need to worry about topic 5.. haha.. really gotta start revising for my tests and send my R for the CR(realy secretive, only uni frens understand).

anway, i went to watch wall e with dear yesterday!! it was SOOOOO cute... i cannot understand why did my sister tell me that it was boring.. it so tremendously entertaining while hilariously funny!!! me and dear went to eat at Astons @ The Cathey. i was delighted to realise that astons have several branches!! 1 @ Katong, 2 @ Tampines, 1 @ The Cathay, 1 @ Bedok and 1 @ East Coast. i guess there must be several more that we have not discovered yet!! haha..

my sister bought mooncake from "Home's Favourite", durian mooncake!!! so divinely delicious!!! haha.. i will definitely be getting that for chen de's family.. my sister bought the white and black ones.. i got the one with the gold flakes on it. so royalty right... haha!!!

Yesterday was so much fun!!! i met up with Jeraldine and Yanting at Vivocity for their annual birthday dinner.. and that blur Jeral lost her way... we were supposed to meet at the basement of vivocity and she ended up at harboufront cruise centre and she called to ask why she only found cruises... lol... she is more like a tourist than a genuine tourist.. anyway, we had our dinner at Marche where we didnt had a proper dinner actually.. we just ordered lots of junk food!!! However, the food was kinda disappointing..
we had mushroom soup, which was pretty bland, with cold hard bread... then chicken cheese swiss rosti, which was burned at the bottom...

Chocolate fudge cake which was really chocolatey and a little unbearable..

the three of us couldn't even finish one slice of cake.. 1 scoop of chocolate ice cream to pair up with the cake.. and a bowl of salad...

Well, however, the service was fantastic.. the staff were really friendly and obliging.. There was only very few customers, most probably because it was a weekday.. Both of them decided to become cows for the day and were happily gazing away in the restaurant.. lol

i am so excited because i have ordered, or rather xl helped me to order my 88 palette eyeshadow!!! isn't it so pretty!! it shld be able to curb my spending on eyeshadows in the NEAR future since i don have to worry about not having the right colour to match my clothes.. lol

i have been trying to save money and to curb my spending.. but i have been very naughty today.. this splurge cost me $95.. my heart is now dripping with blood.. lol.. but my dearest darling say he will sponsor half!! yeah.. MUACKS!!

I have finally completed the formatting for my blog.. really time-consuming.. but quite pleased with the result!! Realised that i have a lot of photos that i want to upload and share with my friends... so don get confused with the randomness... lol

Last week, when i went to watch Money No Enough 2 with dear, he bought me a surprise muffin!!! From Crystal Jade, pandan flavoured.. isn't it really pretty??? dear dear is so sweet!!!

That day i was walking to the bus stop near my house when i was a car that i really have to take out my phone to snap a photo of it.

doesn't it look so cheesy.. lol... its so PINK!!! anyway, i hate pink... but it really looks very AA... hahaha...

My test is coming up this friday... but i have not been revising.. unable to concentrate at all... i hope that it does not end up like my price theory test... i will be meeting dear at MACdonalds tml evening for some hugging of the Buddha foot... lol.. hope alicia will be able to make it to shed some light on me.. or i will be lost on my own...

Some time ago, my whole family(except me)was so hooked on the korean drama serial, 十九岁的青春. they were practically RE-watching it everyday... and mind u, they were rewatching the vcd that my sister bought...

now, she bought another 4 different drama serials back.. i don mind watching korean drama serials as long as they are not those teary ones where they cry every minute.. i get bored to death.. that is why i fancy hongkong drama serials more..

isnt the lead actor so SHUAI!!! i feel happier just looking at him.. when he smiles, my heart melts... so CUTE!! hahaha...

today, dear came to my house to watch vcd with me and accompanied me the whole day!!! so happy... it has been ages since we really enjoyed each other company's relaxing at home.

well, i haven been thinking about the other things in my life lately because of some issues.. so now, i have to buck up on my life, especially on my studies. i had my price theory test on wed, which was a total disaster.. i didnt have the mood to study for it at all. and couldn't do very well for it. i am kinda afraid that i might fail that test, high possibility. so i have to study for my risk management test this coming week.

i am damn broke now.. and its only the middle of the month. i have fallen in love with the Lioele BB cream ever since i tried the sample from the Fr3b website, and they are selling it at a discounted price!! but i seriously cannot buy it now or i will be a cow and be eating grass for the rest of the month.

i did a collage of me and dear's photos with the wondershare collage trial version.. and it is really irritating as the final product has the word, "wondershare collage, blah blah blah" on my photos!!! i had to spend so much time and effort editing it.. gng to put it as the header for my blog when i finally figure out the formatting for this stupid blog..

becoming an IT idiot after so many years of graduating from SP... gave everything back to the lecturers.. lol... but i was never the IT person.. a mistake which caused me 3 years of my youth... but anyway, it is something for me to fall back on if the financial industry prove to be too competitive for me to scount for a job.

today is a happy day.

its a new start to a new journey.. i shall learn to turn away from the bad things in the past and learn to handle the new me. i have to learn to cherish what i have and not to take it for granted. it is a difficult lesson for me to learn to love and understand. but it is so that it will be deeply imprinted in my mind and heart that it is what that is necessary for a relationship to last forever.

i went to watch Money No Enough 2 with dear today. i was like a mad woman and i was really relieved that there was no one else sitting near me today. i was crying one minute then laughing my head off the next. its was hilarious, heart wrenching and very close to the heart, my singaporean heart.
i cried when the old lady in the show had to pull out the plug to let herself die so that her kids will not fight among themselves and also to save her own granddaughter. i can understand the dilemma the character jack neo was in at that time. one is his mother, the woman who brought him into this world, the one who brought him up to be what he is today, the one who selflessly gave him her last savings to help him, the one who went to the coffeeshop to beg for money to help him. and the other is his daughter, his only child, his pride and joy, his own flesh and blood.
i cried when the old lady realised that her 3 sons have left her in the old folks home. when she was feeling so helpless, forsaken by her sons that she have love all her life.
i made a promise to myself at that moment. even if i don have food to eat, i will never do such a thing to my parents. they have never let me feel hungry or unwanted all my life, neither can i do something so inhuman. they have given me everything i have today, irregardless of any conditions, but just because i am their daughter.

it has been a busy day for me.. i will pamper myself tomorrow with a mask.. simply too tired today.. gng to bed soon. and i read kimoko's blog today and found out that there will be a loreal clearance sale today!! she is really very updated on any news that is related to makeup or skincare products. lol. she is kinda like my wikipedia on cosmetics and skincare!!! it is on till the 17th Aug!!! well, i'm pretty broke right now.. so don tink i will be getting anything, so i will just go and check it out...

So excited to have my own blog again. i am off to a new start, therefore, the name!!

i actually felt that having a blog is kinda like an invasion of privacy as there could be many people that you have not intended to be your audience. They might just be reading off everything that you write and just be discussing about your private life with other people.

well, but having a blog sure does make it easier for me to connect with friends that you don get to meet and chat with. so here it is. it took me quite some time for me to tink of a name for my blog and i got my inspiration from alicia's little miss t-shirt, little miss sunshine!!

lol.. but she kept insisting that i use sandymama.. I hereby declare that i will never ever use such a name for my blog.. so corny... haha.. and anyway, that blog already existed.. lame..

anyway, i'm feeling very bored at home right now.. becoz dear is meeting his army mates tonight as usual.. and i know that xl and alicia have plans to go to bedok blk 85 for dinner tonight.. felt so tempted to eat stingray tonight.. but i guess it has to wait.. dear said that he will bring me there for supper tomorrow night.. so excited to meet dear tomorrow!!!

i made a promise to my dear that i will be more understanding and do not insist that he meet me. therefore, i will make good my promise and be the nicest girlfriend. so, its down to me and the keyboard now..

anyway, the main reason why i created this blog is becoz its gonna be real useful as i have several accounts with quite a few beauty forums and it is gng to be real beneficial if i have a blog. lol..
